OFFICIAL VISIT OF DEPUTY MINISTER OF ENERGY AND NATURAL RESOURCES TO THE NATIONAL WILDLIFE RESCUE CENTRE (NWRC) AND WILDLIFE CONSERVATION CENTRE (PKHL) SUNGKAI, PERAK

The Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural resources, YB Ali Biju had organised an official visit to the National Wildlife Rescue Centre (NWRC) and Wildlife Conservation Centre (PKHL) Sungkai, Perak on 18 July 2020.
He was briefed on the functions and roles of NWRC in relation to wildlife rescue duties in Peninsular Malaysia. YB Deputy Minister was also taken to see wildlife species in NWRC such as Malayan Tiger, Sun Bear, Tapir and primate species.
YB also had the opportunity to visit PKHL Sungkai to understand more about the conservation efforts of Gaur, Sambar Deer, bird species and also Sunda Pangolin.
