EXPERT LECTURE SERIES 1/2020: PROTECTED AREA MANAGEMENT

The Department of Wildlife and National Parks (PERHILITAN) Peninsular Malaysia organized the Expert Lecture Series 01/2020 on March 11, 2020 (Wednesday) at the Auditorium, PERHILITAN Headquarters.
The programme was conducted in line with the “Protected Area Management” theme and YBhg Dato’ Fakhrul Hatta Bin Musa, Deputy Director-General of Conservation had officiated the programme.
A total of 3 speakers were invited, namely En. Muthusamy Suppiah, Project Manager of "Enhancing Effectiveness and Financial Sustainability of Protected Areas in Malaysia" UNDP Malaysia, Dr. Sivanathan Ellagupillay and Dr. Mohd Salleh Daim, Head of Sustainable Community Development Center, UiTM Shah Alam. The program was attended by 132 participants from the department's staff and other agencies, institutions of higher learning, private organizations and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
