Expert Lecture Series ‘All About Elephants’ in conjunction with 2016 World Elephant Day Celebration
The Department of Wildlife and National Parks (PERHILITAN) Peninsular Malaysia organised Expert Lecture Series entitled ‘All About Elephants’ in conjunction with 2016 World Elephant Day Celebration on 12 August.
Speakers invited to share their experience were Assoc. Prof. Vanitha Ponnusamy and Ms Ange SL Tan from University Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC), Mdm Suhaida Aini from Malaysia Remote Sensing Agency and Mr Nasharuddin bin Othman from PERHILITAN.
This program serves as a forum to bring together managers, researchers, policy makers, students, industry players who have a direct or indirect stake in wildlife conservation and wildlife management, with the purpose of increasing the knowledge and expertise of personnel as well as disseminating awareness and sharing experiences, providing updates on the latest findings, management practices, technology and any other matter of interest related to the work.
