Appreciation of Department SME in conjunction with Setia 1NRE Assembly
Setia 1NRE Assembly was held on July 29, 2016 (Friday) at Dewan Baiduri, Wisma Sumber Asli, Putrajaya, in conjunction with one-year administration of YB Dato Sri Dr Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Datuk Ir. Haji Hamim Bin Samuri, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment and YBhg Dato' Sri Azizan bin Ahmad, General-Secretary of Natural Resources and Environment in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (NRE).
During this event, two (2) personnel from the Department of Wildlife and National Parks (PERHILITAN) were given recognition as Subject Matter Expert - SME in Wildlife Conservation, following a letter of appointment as Subject Matter Expert (SME) by the Public Service Department (JPA ).
Mr Nasharuddin bin Othman, Head of the National Elephant Conservation Centre (NECC) Kuala Pahang is recognized as an SME in the field of elephant management. Meanwhile Mr. Mohd Samsudin bin Mohd Suri, Principal Assistant Director, Biodiversity Conservation Division is recognized as an SME in the field of rhinoceros management.
