Biodiversity inventory and enforcement programmes have been done at Package 6 Alignment (highway from Aring, Gua Musang in Kelantan to Pasir Pulau, Gawi in Terengganu). These resulted in the construction of 3 wildlife viaducts; the first of its kind in South East Asia, and will function as a wildlife crossing, especially large mammals such as the elephant, sun bear, tiger, tapir and gaur.
