After
the reorganization of DWNP in 2004, Institute
of Biodiversity (IBD) was established to provide
training to DWNP staff and to develop research
on the nation’s biodiversity resources.
The establishment of IBD by the Government is
a long term strategy under the National Biodiversity
Policy. IBD also plays an important role to
carry out the NRE Comprehensive Training Plan
to ensure DWNP staff receives sufficient training
in their daily job towards effective delivery
services. To achieve these roles, IBD carries
out programmes such as below: |
