MISSION

To lead the integration and implementation of conservation programme and sustainable management of the nation's biodiversity efficiently and effectively.

OBJECTIVES

  1. Protection, management and preservation of biodiversity for the production of optimum benefits.
  2. Protection and development of protected areas for the purpose of research, education, economic, aesthetic, recreation and ecological purposes.
  3. Enhancement of knowledge, awareness and public support on the importance of biodiversity conservation.
